Powerhouse Roasters began with a Christmas gift from our children — a tiny coffee roaster given to Wes. In the evenings, after the work on our Wyoming farm was done, Wes would roast small batches of coffee beans — creating roasts for black coffee, lattes, and anything the family requested. As he served each cup and teased his children, he dreamed aloud about roasting coffee for others.

One day, our son joined in the dreaming. And since he is a big dreamer himself, he helped put those dreams into motion. What began as quiet evenings around a kitchen roaster became something more — a family-built vision shaped by Wyoming grit, steady hands, and a love for honest, good coffee.
